Shipping & Insurance

The short version

Every piece ships from Belgium, fully insured and tracked, with its certificate of authenticity in the box. Shipping is free across the European Union. Outside the EU, pieces over €500 ship free; pieces under €500 carry a flat €20 that covers insured international shipping and the official export paperwork.

Dispatch

Orders are packed and dispatched within 1 to 3 business days of payment. If you commission a professional restoration or a custom pendant mounting, allow about 2 extra weeks before dispatch. You receive a tracking number by email the moment your parcel is handed to the carrier.

Within the European Union

Free, insured and tracked (bpost or DHL). Delivery typically takes 1 to 3 business days after dispatch.

Outside the European Union

A genuine antiquity cannot simply be dropped in the mail across the EU border. Every piece we send outside the European Union travels with an official EU export licence: a state-issued document confirming your piece left Europe legally. The licence stays with the piece and becomes part of its provenance. Issuing it typically takes 2 to 4 weeks before dispatch, and we confirm your personal timeline by email within 24 hours of your order.

After dispatch, insured and tracked delivery takes 5 to 10 business days. Pieces over €1,500 travel with DHL Express (2 to 5 business days).

Customs and import duties

Import duties or taxes outside the EU are set by your country and are the buyer's responsibility. Antiques over 100 years old enter duty-free in many countries, but rules vary. If you are unsure, ask us before ordering and we will check for your destination.
