  • Shipping is a flat €95 per order, however many pieces. It covers the EU export licence and insured DHL Express (2–5 business days after dispatch).
  • Every antiquity leaving the EU needs an official EU export licence. We apply for it on your behalf (included in the €95); approval takes about 3 weeks before dispatch. The licence travels with the piece and stays part of its provenance.
  • Import duties and taxes are not included. They are charged on top by your country's customs.

Description

A two-piece setup that turns any Aurora Antiqua coin into a wearable pendant. Hand-finished in Belgium from 925 sterling silver. The four-prong mount holds the coin securely around the rim, with no drilling, no glue, and no damage to the original artefact.

What is in the setup

  • Four-prong mount: a sterling silver circular frame with four short prongs that close around the coin's edge. Custom-fitted to the diameter of your selected coin.
  • 925 sterling silver chain: handmade, 50 cm by default. Other lengths (45 / 55 / 60 cm) on request, free of charge.

Non-destructive by design

Drilling a hole through an ancient coin destroys most of its collector value, and historically, most of its emotional value too. The four-prong mount avoids that completely. The prongs grip the coin's rim by tension, the same principle used in fine jewellery to set unmounted gemstones. The coin can be removed in seconds and returned to a collection tray with no trace, no scratch, no modification.

For your specific coin

Every coin we list has a measured diameter (typically 16-30 mm). We fit the mount to your selected coin before shipping, so the prongs sit flush against the rim and the coin sits centred in the frame. If you own multiple Aurora coins of similar diameter, the mount fits all of them and can be swapped between coins.

The mount is fully reversible. Your antique remains in its original state, with no drilling, no soldering, no adhesive of any kind.
