Description
This distinctive Viking knife dates to around AD 800-1000. It features a robust, single-edged iron blade with a pronounced curve and a sharp point-typical for Viking utility and personal knives. The handle is a modern reconstruction in bone, skillfully carved to resemble a raven's head, complete with incised Norse-inspired motifs. The raven is a powerful symbol in Viking mythology, representing wisdom, guidance, and a connection to Odin, the all-father god.
